Joking Clownfish

What are Din Din, Delma, and Dazel up to this week? Let's find out.
Delma could hear raucous laughing coming from the Aquatic School's Assembly Area, "Hahahaha.."

She had been occupied assisting Olly the Octopus, the principal of the Aquatic School, with some last-minute preparations for a field trip, which is why she was late for assembly.

As Assembly was coming to a close, she squished into a row of her classmates and asked one of her jellyfish friends, "What's the matter?"

What is the humour, she continued.

The jellyfish wiped a tear from his scarcely perceptible eye and asked, "Remember the new fish which started going to Aquatic School last week?" "who must swim for an hour to get here and lives close to the coral reefs? He is a comic, after all! When it was his class's turn to present in assembly today, he had the crowd in fits of laughter with his humorous exchanges."

"Oh! It eluded me! "Delma said, her face lowering.

Delma ran across the clown fish that day during recess as she was looking through a book on plants in the library of the Aquatic School.

The clown fish said cheerfully, "Hello!

"You are the lake's defender, the 'hugely' famed Delma!"

Delma appeared surprised. She then smiled broadly when she realised the clownfish's joke.

"I'm grateful. Likewise, I've been expecting to see you "Delma smiled as she said. "I heard that your assembly presentation was hilarious. Everybody in my class was discussing it."

"Well! I just laugh at my own jokes," the clownfish said ruefully. "Luckily, everyone else laughs along!"

Delma deemed Capri the clownfish to be one of the most unusual animals she had ever encountered. He quickly rose to the top of the most well-liked animals at Aquatic School. During breaks, everyone flocked to sit next to him, and everywhere he went, gales of laughing followed.

One night at the lakeside where the three friends frequently gathered, Delma stated to her pals Din Din and Dazel, "I wish you could meet him. "Nobody I've ever met has a greater sense of humour,"

Hearing Delma tell one of Capri's jokes made Dazel chuckle, "He does sound like a fascinating fish!" "He is. And his energetic demeanour, which is well reflected in his vivid orange and white striped look. But you're aware that he lives far away on the coral reefs. He must swim an hour from his house to school. Additionally, as soon as school is ended, he must run home. Even after work, he doesn't get out with any of us. I'm curious as to why he doesn't relocate closer to the school "questioned Delma.

Din Din remarked, "Perhaps his family doesn't want to leave the reefs.

"Yes, perhaps! But the distance to school is rather far "Delma pondered.

The following day when Capri arrived at school, Delma couldn't help but notice how worn out he appeared.

"It doesn't matter! I have to work out!" Capri laughed, but Delma could tell that he was struggling and panting.

Delma asked nervously, not wanting to appear intrusive, "If you don't mind my asking, why don't you and your family relocate to an area closer to school."

Capri's normally cheerful face went rigid. He appeared to be dumbfounded for the first time since she first saw him.

The confused clownfish could only stutter, "I...I can't." Without saying anything further, he swam off.

Delma felt terrible for hurting Capri's feelings. "I asked him why. I ought to have just remained quiet, "She swore at herself. The dolphin made up his mind, "I will see Capri after school and apologise."

But Capri had already departed the school grounds when Delma finished her final lecture of the day.

When Delma inquired about the clownfish, Sally the salmon, who was that day's gate guard, replied, "He just departed."

Delma inquired glumly, "Sally, do you know where the coral reefs are where Capri lives?"

The salmon said, "Yes," and described how to go to Delma.

Delma swam quickly towards the reefs, oblivious to the grumbling in her stomach, with nothing else on her mind but to apologise to her new friend.

By the time she discovered the precise site of the clownfish family's home, it was already dusk. Exotic flowers with colourful and long petals adorned the stunning coral reefs.

Delma yelled "Capri," when she saw her acquaintance from school among the petals of one lovely flower. "Delma?" When the dolphin showed up to Capri's house, he was frightened. Why are you in this location?

Delma apologetically stated, "I came to apologise for my nosy inquiries this morning.

The clownfish advised, "Don't...don't get too close."

How come not? Delma enquired, shocked and upset by the rejection.

Delma, I hope you get it," Capri replied. The clown fish then said, "Meet the sea anemones," with a sigh.

Capri said, "These flower-like critters are actually a collection of water-dwelling, carnivorous species," as Delma's expression turned perplexed. Their tentacles feature hair that may prick your flesh with poison. That's why I requested you to keep your distance.

Delma reacted startled with "Oh!" and moved back. Why then are you a part of its tentacles?

The stinging tentacles of the sea anemone are shielded from us by a particular mucus on our body, explained Capri. You see, sea anemones and clownfish live in harmony with one another. That implies that our very life is dependent upon one another.

The stinging tentacles of the anemone shield humans from predators, whereas clownfish shield the anemone from fish that consume anemones. And for this precise reason, I am unable to live anyplace else except where these anemones are found.

Delma exclaimed, "Oh!" when the reality finally hit her. "I apologise, Capri. Everybody lives in a unique way. It's incredibly fascinating!

Delma, it's all right. Thank you for your patience. And thank you for travelling so far to apologise," the clownfish said with a smile. Nevertheless, you should exercise as well.

Delma chuckled as she flung her head back. Capri, would you want to meet my dearest buddies at my lakefront house?

The happy clownfish answered, "Sure, let me ask my folks."

Finally, Capri the clownfish was able to make an acquaintance with Din Din and Dazel.
