The list of nominees will be posted on February 16, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on February 17 and 18.
Appeals for nomination papers can be filed till February 20. The revised list of candidates will be posted on February 24.
The deadline for withdrawal of nomination papers is February 25, while polling for the Senate elections will take place on March 3.
The Election Commission of Pakistan further said that the date for submission of nomination papers has been extended for the convenience of the candidates.
The Election Commission of Pakistan also said that the candidates had difficulty in fulfilling the legal requirements due to lack of time.
Earlier, a deadline of today was given for submission of nomination papers for the Senate elections.
